European Hostel Itinerary

I spent several hours checking out the variety of hostels on Hostel World and I’ve finally narrowed down a handful that I’m keen on staying at during my time in Europe. As my travel plans are very flexible, it’s possible that the dates and destinations may shift slightly.

Because this will be my first time travelling solo, I have chosen to sleep in female dorms; until I grasp the idea of sleeping in the same room with complete strangers, female dorms will be my go-to. The Mosquito Hostel in Kraków being an exception as this particular hostel didn’t have any female dorms. The following hostels are centrally located, have common rooms, free WiFi and internet accessibility and have been recommended by Hostel World, whist being backed up with some of the best customer reviews.

  1. What a great two months you have planned! When your heading from Berlin to London you should take a stop off in Holland, Belgium or France if you book now you can get the train from Amsterdam, Antwerp or Paris for a lot cheaper than a flight. Not to mention you will get to see another beautiful city.

    • Thanks for the suggestions :) I have definitely considered Belgium. We’ll see, that’s the beauty of traveling through Europe I hear, the rail system can take you around most countries with ease. France also sounds great!

      • It’s no problem, yeah exactly that’s it. It’s very easy to get around. If you haven’t already you should also look into getting a two month rail pass. If you have any questions don’t be afraid to ask!

      • It depends in much you plan on getting the train as well, you can get a two month pass that’s only valid to travel on 16 days within those two months, maybe something like that would be your best option.

  2. That’s great :) Thanks for the info
I think I’ll do that, I estimated that i’ll end up spending $700 on train travel within the 2 month period. I could save a bit of cash buying the EuRail pass.

  3. Sounds like an awesome trip! And I agree with barmandan ^ on the train pass. I bought the 10 days within 2 months one and it worked out perfectly! I didn’t even use all the days, as I only used it for my long journeys.
P.S. I love the featured photo. You will LOVE Prague :)
