Kayak – Hotel, flight and travel deals. Not as good as Skyscanner, but a nice alternative.
Skyscanner – Compare cheap flights, hotels and car hire.
Qantas – The new Qantas update includes in-app check-in, access to your boarding pass, upcoming trips and a personalised timeline for each.
WhatsApp – Simple, personal, real-time messaging app that uses your 3G or WiFi.
Viber – Free text, photo and video messages with location-sharing.
Foursquare – Find the perfect places to go with friends. Discover the best food, nightlife, and entertainment in your area.
Dropbox -This awesome app lets you add your photos, docs and videos anywhere and share them easily.
Duolingo – Fun, easy and scientifically proven language app. Level up, communicate with the online community and go head to head in challenges with people around the world.
Memrise – Another great language app that uses funny images and science to make learning easy and fun.
Twitter – Stay connected and informed, express your thoughts and discover more about the things you love.
Instagram – Very addictive app. A heap of filters to choose from to adjust the appearance of your photos.
Pinterest – One of my favourites. A visual discovery tool that you can use to find ideas for all your projects and interests.
SoundCloud – One that I use often. This is an audio platform app that enables music artists to upload, record, promote and share their originally created sounds. Create playlists and post some of your favourite tracks.
SoundHound – This handy app recognises the music playing around you. This is the world’s only singing and humming recognition music app. Best part – the LiveLyrics! Watch as they move in time with the music.
